NBA legend Paul Pierce was wrong about Luka Doncic

Last month the Los Angeles Lakers Luka Doncic landed in one of the most shocking transactions in the NBA history.

Many people shared reactions to the blockbuster deal.

Initially, Basketball Hall by Famer Paul Pierce took a strong attitude when he broadcast a handful of posts (via X).

Pierce (on February 2): “LeBron and Luka I see no fitting”

Pierce (on February 2): “Both need the ball too much”

Pierce (on February 2): “Trade Source and Bronny Back to Cleveland Build around Luka is the only way to save the Lakers”

Pierce (on February 2): “He doesn’t need the Super Star La, does not fit in the Mold Magic Kobe Shaq LeBron and just says the bad move”

So far Doncic has given the Lakers a new life and he is an excellent addition to LeBron James.

They gone 5-2 in their first seven games with Doncic in the line-up (despite the fact that he shoots badly).

Via Skip Bayless (on Friday): “At the age of 40, Luka’s mere presence has turned into a top 5 player. Press the expectations. Reduce performance. 17 in the 1st half on the 2nd night from back to back.”

In honesty towards Pierce, those were his thoughts the same night of the trade.

That is why the NBA legend had not yet viewed them on the field.

Doncic is on average 21.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.7 assists per match while 37.3% shoot out of the field and 24.1% of the three -point range in his first seven games for the Lakers.
