Detroit Pistons guard on pace to become a member of Steph Curry in NBA history

Long before he arrived at the Detroit pistons, Malik Beasley built up a reputation in the NBA because he was an effective three -point shooter. That said, the Journeyman Guard has succeeded in elevating his game in a great way in his new situation.

In the season, Beasley is on average the second highest PPG total of his career at 16.7. As expected, the majority of his damage from outside has become the arc. Together with the much needed floor distance for the pistons, Beasley was able to make his way in the history books. He is currently on a pace to only become the second player who once shot 42% or better from three out of nine attempts per match. The other to do this is Steph Curry, who achieved this performance five times.

Beasley has had countless three -point barages this season, with the most recent Wednesday against the Boston Celtics. In 22 minutes from the bank, he raised six triples on his way to finish with 26 points on the night.

After signing a modest annual deal in the low season, Beasley drastically exceeded his contract. He continues to offer a strong perimeter presence on the floor, while helping the young team behind the scenes lead. If he sees how well he has been brought to his new situation, the Front Office must be looking for Beasley in Detroit far past this season.
