AMD’s Mid-Range RX 9060 GPUs are expected to go live somewhere in the second quarter of this year and are expected to compete with Nvidia’s 60-class RTX Blackwell GPUs.
AMD’s Mid-Range RX 9060 GPUs to tackle Nvidia’s RTX 5060/RTX 5060 TI; Is expected to be within the $ 400 subsidy
Red’s first batch of RDNA 4 GPUs, the RX 9070 series, came out in style and offered a huge price-to-performance value. The Radeon RX 9070 XT flagship, launched at $ 599, would compete with Nvidia’s RTX 5070 TI, which means that the GPU is focused on the consumer segment from the middle to high end. But for those who have a tight budget, AMD currently does not offer many options. With the RX 9060 series, however, things seem to change because the initial details of the Line -Up have now been revealed.

AMD China has (via MyDivers) confirmed that the Radeon RX 9060 GPUs are expected to be launched by Q2 2025, which means that they focus directly on the upcoming 60-class GPUs from Nvidia. Although details around the line-up are locked up for the time being, it is expected that the RX 9060 series Navi will use, a budget-oriented GPU silicon, with a VRAM count of approximately 8 GB, depending on how AMD decides to position these models.

With the RX 9070 release, Team Red essentially distracted the focus of regular GPU consumers to themselves, which means that Nvidia will have a hard time marketing the coming launches, unless the decision to do something unexpectedly. With the RX 9060 series we expected that AMD would target the $ 400-$ 500 price segment, since that is a sweet spot for budget gamers and will certainly help compete with the GeForce RTX 5060 and its “TI” counter.
Since AMD uses a strategy that is comparable to what it did with the RX 9070 series, we expect the RX 9060 to make his debut somewhere in April, after the launch of the 60-class GPUs from Nvidia. Nothing is officially confirmed for now, but things are interesting for the GPU segment.
